Description

VETERANS AFFAIRS SEEKING CLINIC SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease space with a minimum of 4503 usable square feet, 6079 rentable square feet in the Jacksonville, N.C. area for use as a Vet Center. The space can either be a freestanding building or space within an existing building. Class A office/clinic space is required on ground level. On-site parking of approximately 25 spaces, including 5 reserved handicapped parking spaces for VA use. Onsite parking consistent with current State of North Carolina and Department of Veterans Affairs guidelines is required. The lease terms shall not exceed a 5-year base period plus 5 one year renewal options All space must be handicapped accessible in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other governing standards for persons with disabilities and must be sufficient to provide both visual and sound privacy for individual interviews, group counseling sessions, family interviews, conferences, etc. Ideally, adjacent properties will be for Professional Office use. Properties within the following boundaries will be considered: Beginning at Hwy 24E and intersection of Western Blvd, Go North on Western Blvd to Country Club Rd. Turn East on Country Club Rd and follow to Piney Green Rd. Turn North on Piney Green Rd and follow to Hwy 17. Turn south on Hwy 17 and follow to Western Blvd Ext. Turn North on Western Blvd Ext and follow to Gum Branch Rd. Turn South on Gum Branch Rd and follow to Henderson Dr. Turn West on Henderson Dr and follow out to Hwy 17. Turn North on Hwy 17 and follow to Hwy 258N. Follow Hwy 258N to Pony Farm Rd. Turn East on Pony Farm Rd and follow to Blue Creek Rd. Turn South on Blue Creek Rd and follow back to Hwy 258S which will reconnect back with Hwy 17. Potential offerors shall thoroughly and completely read all documents in the solicitation package accompanying RLP 36C246-18-R-0240. Offers are due Friday March 30, 2018, 3:00 pm EST. Questions regarding RLP 36C246-18-R-00240 shall be submitted via email only to the Lease Contracting Officer (LCO) no later than Monday, March 19, 2018, 3:00 pm EST. No questions or requests for clarification will be accepted via phone. All questions will be addressed and posted on FBO. The LCO will issue an amendment to the RLP, with all questions and responses, no later than Friday, March 23, 2018, 3:30 pm EST. If no questions are received, no amendment will be issued. With respect to all matters relating to the lease acquisition for the subject project, only the LCO shall have the authority to issue and amend the RLP and award a Lease.
