Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-14-G-0004 to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation on an 'other than full and open' competitive basis to respond to data and information requests from the Government in support of the Government's VH-92A supportability analysis and IETMS development efforts. The RFI topics will cover both S-92A (baseline aircraft) and the new and modified data for the VH-92A configuration. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the VH-92A, - including the integration and airworthiness certification of the Mission Communication System - and therefore is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data that can meet the Government requirement on a timely basis. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. Any interested parties may submit a capability statement within fifteen days after date of this synopsis publication for consideration by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
