Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice for Market Research purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified HUBZone Small Business sources as a set-aside. The preponderance of work for this requirement is under NAICS code 511990, with a size standard of $15M. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary, and will not be utilized to determine if a vendor is qualified to submit a Request for Quote/Request for Proposal for any future/potential requirement. No vendor will be provided information on solicitations issued on a Government Point of Entry based on this Sources Sought request. The U.S. Army Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific has a requirement for remote medical coding services, coding/documentation feedback and training for the medical providers at the Bassett Army Community Hospital (BACH) on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The successful contractor will be responsible for coding approximately 35% of the outpatient clinical workload (OB/GYN, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Physical Therapy, Optometry, and Emergency Department). The requirement includes 6 monthly focused audits using AHLTA (30 records) on select providers and clinics with a formal report on ICD-10-CM, CPT, and E/M compliance. Medical Care Providers will be offered the opportunity for a teleconference with the remote auditor. The Contractor shall provide Quarterly on-site training for one week, involving approximately 5 clinical areas per day. The Contractor must be familiar with working in an Application Virtualization Hosting Environment (AVHE), and shall comply with the AVHE guidelines. Vendors must show at least 3 years of coding experience, and at least 2 years of satisfactory experience working with military medical facilities. Vendors are invited to submit electronic information (no more than 3 pages) that demonstrates their ability to fulfill the requirement in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this notice no later than 13 March 2018 at 10:00 am HST. Responses to this notice should include the company name, Point of Contact (POC) name, telephone# and email address, company CAGE#, DUNS#, office address, and any brochures which will allow the Government to understand your offerings and options. Capability statements should be submitted to the attention of Tonja D. Jenkins, Contract Specialist, Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at tonja.d.jenkins.ci v@mail.mil. Telephone responses will not be accepted. All vendors working with the Federal Government are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) registry with NAICS Code 541990.
