THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY The Solicitation is not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has a future requirement for Gastroenterology Services at the Central Iowa VA Medical Center located in Des Moines, IA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561320 (Size Standard: $38.5 million). The Government contemplates awarding a firm-fixed price contract resulting from the future solicitation. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and technical capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Interested parties should download and complete the market research questionnaire. No collect calls will be accepted. Email the completed market research questionnaire to andrew.schoenecker@va.gov. The response date for the market research questionnaire is March 15, 2018. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel to provide services necessary to perform onsite Gastroenterology Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Des Moines, IA. The Contractors physician's care shall cover the range of Gastroenterology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art health care medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American College of Physicians- Internal Medicine http://www.acponline.org/clinical_information/guidelines/ and American College of Gastroenterology Guidelines: http://gi.org/clinical-guidelines/. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have their representations and certifications completed.
