Description
SLAC seeks vendors that can provide the following: Brief description: Five wet benches for the Nano-X cleanroom facility in the PSLB/ASC building are to be acquired, including one solvent wet bench, two acid benches, and two base benches. An integrated, custom waste collection system with alarm system is required for each since the only route for waste disposal for the lab will be via local collection/disposal. The entire wet bench system and custom waste collection system must meet SLAC ES&H requirements. See Specifications as described below: Specifications Wet Benches Total (Qty 5) Custom Wet Benches made to following specifications Standard features: - Constructed in compliance with relevant safety and manufacturing standards including, but not limited to NEC, NFPA and SEMI-S2 (Electrical Requirements) standards. - Casters, leg levelers - Photohelic exhaust gauge and EMO (connected to Photohelic gauge) controller on front head case panel - Solid piece, polycarbonate, counter-weighted front sash - Lock Out/Tag Out Master Switch - Recirculating DI gun - DIW recirculating line to prevent dead legs - High purity PVDF manifold and needle valves - DI water to be supplied at 1 inch incoming and 1 inch outgoing - Slide out drawers - Pass through for DI gun from filter units (T.B.D.) - Sealed deck tops - Exhaust: vent ducting (8 in. dia.) will be routed to the top of bench (allow 125 CFM/linear foot of bench). - Electrical supply: to be determined once configuration is finalized - Lock Out/Tag Out Master Switch included on front panel. - Drains: only water drains are available - for the utility sinks only. Cup sinks are used to provide a means to collect non-water fluids, which gravity drain into waste collection containers below the deck. - Roll out draws below deck top working areas to collect and remove chemical wastes from wet process benches. A font access door is opened and two 2.5 gallon carboys are positioned to accept wastes from cup sinks. Proximity sensors detect carboy presence of high liquid levels and status lights on the wet bench will indicate status of carboys. (1) Solvent wet bench specifications (Qty = 1) Material: Stainless steel 304, with leg levelers and casters Dimensions: 96L x 42D (front-to-back) x 75H, inches Access: Front access, Clear polycarbonate split shield, allows halfway opening at front, counter-weighted, Vertical divider in center of bench Water: DI water manifold, DIW recirculating gun (right side) Gas: N2 gun (right side) Exhaust: photohelic exhaust gauge Lighting: LED lighting. Safety: EMO controller which provides a means to switch off the main power line consisting of a self-contained pilot duty master relay, on and off switches, three LED alarm indicators and large (40mm) push to lock/twist-to-release EPO red mushroom switch. LED lighting provided above work area. Fire suppression system: FM 4910 rated CO2 fire detection and suppression system with electro polished 316 stainless steel spray nozzles, IR detectors, main control panel, manual pull station, strobe light with audible alarm and electrical discharge head. Electricity: 5 ea. GFCI duplexes, 20 Amp max - two duplexes above deck top - left side and one right side. Two duplexes on front roll - one left side and one right side. Right side specifications: - Waste disposal: Stainless steel cup sink - drains to two-carboy waste collection system, drawer pull-out type, below deck top. When one carboy is full sensor will switch drain line to the second carboy. Carboys sit on sliding mechanism to allow load/unloading from the front of the tool. - Stainless Steel Utility Sink with gooseneck, Dimensions: 12 x 12 x 10D inches. Drains to dedicated drain to rear. - 1 ea. DIW (recirculating) gun - 1 ea. N2 gun Left side specifications: Integration of Headway spinner (2) Acid/Base Hood (Qty = 2) Material: PVCC (FM Global listed) front access Wet Bench, with leg levelers and casters Dimensions: 60L x 42D (front-to-back) x 75H, inches Access: Front access, clear polycarbonate single shield, counter-weighted Water: DI water manifold, DIW recirculating gun Gas: N2 gun Exhaust: photohelic exhaust gauge Lighting: LED lighting. Safety: Emergency Power Off (EMO) controller which provides a means to switch off the main power line consisting of a self-contained pilot duty master relay, on and off switches, three LED alarm indicators and large (40mm) push to lock/twist-to-release EPO red mushroom switch.
