- Description
- Responses to RFQ 36C25818Q0112 Vendor Questions -Question: If awarded some or all of the Tc-99m products, we will need to re-configure our generatir profile to be 100% LEU and the manufactures require a 30 day notice to start and stop generators. Will this be a problem? No, this will not be a problem. -Question: Section 8, page 9 says the contractor must be licensed by the NRC. New Mexico (as is Arizona) is a NRC Agreement State and we are thus licensed by the New Mexico Environmental Department (NMED)- Radiological Services. Is being licensed by the State of NMED acceptable? Contractors licensed by an NRC agreement state such as New Mexico are equivalent to licensure by the NRC. The NMED licensure is acceptable. -Question: E.2 52.216-2: We will not be submitting prices for all of the items being solicited - will this disqualify us? No, the vendor should submit pricing for all items they can provide. For items the vendor cannot supply they should mark N/A. -Question: B.2 Price/Cost Schedule: Because some items are proprietary and we do not have control over annual price increases for those items and others, how do we fill out B.2? Some items we may not have any significant increases and others we may, and we have no way to know. It is understood that the nature of radiopharmaceutical production is non-standard, and as such, that pricing may fluctuate. The vendor should provide pricing for all items they can supply for every year (Base Year + Four Additional Option Years) to include inflation and changes in manufacturing pricing. As such, if option years are exercised, pricing will be reviewed at that time to determine if it is fair and reasonable.
