- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of Service Disabled Veteran-Owned & VOSB firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334220.The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking small business manufacturer or distributors of small business manufacturers, of functionally equivalent equipment to all the following: Physical Security System (CCTV) Upgrade Project Install one (1) fixed IP network camera in each of the five (5) passenger elevators (P1, P2, P3, P6, and P7) located in Building #200/200N for a total of five (5) IP network cameras. Install one (1) fixed IP network camera in each of the two (2) freight elevators (F4 and F5) located in Building #200 for a total of two (2) IP network cameras. Install eighteen (18) fixed interior IP network cameras in the following locations within Buildings #200/200N: Side Corridor in Building #200 (near room B1-22) Side Corridor in Building #200 (near room B1-34) Side Corridor in Building #200 (near room B1-34) Side Corridor in Building #200 (near room B1-25) Side Corridor in Building #200 (opposite room B1-34) Starbucks Dining Area in Building #200N E/R Rear Area in Building #200 (near room C111) Eligibility Area in Building #200 Side Corridor in Building #200 (near room B113C) Side Corridor in Building #200 (near room B122/C146) Admissions Waiting Area in Building #200 Admissions Waiting Area in Building #200 Side Corridor in Building #200 (near room C-128) E.R entrance near vending machines in Building #200 Basement Corridor in Building #200 (near B Closet across from B0-26 Basement Corridor in Building #200 (near A10A) ATM Area in Building #200 Main Entry Area in Building #200 Install two (2) fixed exterior IP network cameras in the following locations within Buildings #200/200N: Outside Ambulance located outside Building #200 Outside Loading Dock South All cameras are to be network cameras that will communicate via IP back to the Telecom closet located in building 200. All cameras must be Day/Night capable. All stationary IP cameras must be at minimum Full HDTV1080p, 2 MP, up to 60 fps. All cameras must have built-in video analytics. Cameras must be weather and vandal proof and capable of providing quality imaging under extreme weather conditions. There is a switch (Cisco) to the existing camera network located in a communication closet in Building #200/200N, however, the existing switch may need to be expanded or there may be a need for an additional switch in order to port the additional cameras. Switches and associated network components are to be consistent and approved by the VA IT department. All cameras covered in this scope of work are to be integrated into the existing American Dynamics Video Edge Victor VMS platform. Contractor must be certified in Video Edge by American Dynamics with references for successful work on Victor Platform in installations of similar size and scope. The current video system allows for at least thirty (30) days of storage and playback. Based on the addition of a total of 25 network cameras, the storage capacity may be affected. Therefore, the vendor must provide all necessary, additional equipment to maintain/achieve 30 days of storage after all the exterior cameras from this project are installed and added to the existing network. Other contract requirements are: Contractor to provide diagram of camera location, after approved installation. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334220 (Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing).
