Description

DRAFT SOW Functional/Performance/Specification Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, testing equipment, etc. necessary to perform load bank testing of five (5) generators located at the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care Systems, 400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39531. This testing is required by The Joint Commission. The below generators do not typically have enough load to maintain testing requirements and require separate testing. GENERTORS TO BE TESTED: B.69 Generator 300KW/208V (Onan M/N QSM11G4NR3 S/N: 35282593) B.74 Generator 500KW/208V (Cummins M/N DFEK-6583701 S/N: C110193526) B.29 Generator 50KW/480V (Kohler M/N 50REOZJD S/N: SGM32C8W8) B.37 Generator 300KW/480V (CAT M/N LC5 S/N: C5A070752) B.35 Generator 1000KW/480V (Caterpillar M/N 1000S2C S/N: CAT0032JJAZ01297) Contractor will perform an onsite 4-hour load bank test on each generator. A resistive type load bank will be utilized. The test will be at a minimum 30% for 30 minutes, 50% for 30 minutes and 75% for 3 hours. Various readings need to be recorded during the testing and provided to the Electric shop upon completion of the testing. All discrepancies found will be noted and recommendations provided to the Electric shop. Contractor will test run the generator upon completion to verify proper operation. Delivery: 30-45 Days of receiving contract QUALIFICATION OF OFFERORS. The contractor shall be a firm regularly engaged in the repair, maintenance and servicing of generators. Their expertise, experience, and regular business shall include the repair, maintenance and servicing of various generators. Contractor shall ensure its employees have the ability to perform the applicable duties consistent with their license and certification. Offerors shall be able to show evidence of their reliability, ability and experience by furnishing (1) a list of personnel who will perform under the contract, showing the length and type of experience of personnel who will service these facilities and proof of certification. SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS: Contractor s workmen shall follow all safety requirements in accordance with OSHA regulations. All construction and all adjacent property shall be kept clean and free from debris at all times and contractor shall remove debris daily from all affected property. Contractor will not be allowed use of government materials and/or labor for this project.
