Description

PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE: 100% SET-ASIDE SMALL BUSINESS PROCUREMENT PROGRAM IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATIONS PART 19. Project Name: PAINT EXTERIOR SURFACES OF THE EAST & WEST ROUNDHOUSE COMFORT STATIONS AQUATIC PARK. The work specified herein includes the preparation, concrete spalling repair, and routine painting, of the East and West Roundhouse Comfort Stations located within Aquatic Park. Aquatic Park is part of the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (SAFR), National Park Service. The intent is to repair spalling concrete at the top of the structure ¿s parapet walls, to prepare and paint all exterior surfaces of the East and West Roundhouse Comfort Stations, including wall surfaces, handrails, steps, doors/ door framing, window framing and all paintable exterior surfaces. The day-to-day operations within both of these structures will continue during construction. All debris and paint chips shall be minimized and contained as work progresses, and egress for park staff shall be maintained. 140P8618R0010. The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, GOGA MABO intends to solicit quotations from qualified Small Business firms for a firm-fixed price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the project. Work includes, but is not limited to the preparation, and painting the exterior of Building E The Government award will be based on ¿Lowest Price Technically Acceptable ¿. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238320, and the small business size standard is $15 million. Contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as a small business for this solicitation ¿s NAICS code. Offerors not listed as a small business for the appropriate NAICS may be deemed ineligible for further consideration for award. Offerors are required to have a DUNS number and an active registration in SAM (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. Per FAR 52.228-13, ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT PROTECTIONS ARE REQUIRED Time for proposed contract completion is approximately 30 calendar days. The solicitation and attachments will be posted electronically on or about March 19, 2018 at the following website: Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov). All amendments will also be posted to this website. Responses will be due approximately 21 days following the date of the posting of the solicitation unless extended. The entire solicitation package with all attached documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML, and/or Adobe PDF. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. This synopsis/pre-solicitation announcement is not a solicitation document, but a pre-notice of the upcoming solicitation.
