Description
Attachment E - Past Performance Questionnaire Attachment D - Certificate Regarding Lobbying - FAR 3.804 Attachment C - 75D-07.0-04 EHS Contractor Requirements Attachment B - Statement of Work Attachment A -Non-disclosure_Agreement Combined Synopsis_ Solicitation The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Destruction Certification Branch (DCB) has a requirement for new equipment. The equipment shall consist of a shredder, briquettor, and dust collector system that will be used to destroy Mutilated currency (known as MUTS) and other material. The existing floor shredder and mutilation system is aging and is overwhelmed by the current quantity of shredded currency. Unplanned down times as well as increased maintenance for blade changes will put further strain on the systems. Contractor shall provide a high throughput shredding and briquettor system to replace the existing floor shredder, briquettor, fans, and dust collection systems for the subbasement located at the Washington D.C. Currency Facility (DCF). Contractor shall also remove the old shredder and relocate the existing Briquettor and dust collection system from the sub-basement to Section C-200-M of the BEP main building. Due to the nature and complexity of this requirement contractors are encouraged to attend a site visit to familiarize themselves with the facility, and verify all measurements. The site visit will take place at the BEP Washington D.C Facility. The site visit will be conducted for all interested offerors promptly at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time (EDT) on 14 March 2018. Please see all documents for more information.
