- Note: This pre-solicitation was created in lieu of Pre-Solicitation Number M6740018Q0005 due to system error that actual solicitation document failed to upload. This is a pre-solicitation notice prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis is as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-18-Q-0005 will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or after 02 Mar 2018. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96 and DPN 2017122. DPAS Rating is DO-S10. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 493110. The Government ™s requirements are for organizational level combat ready staging services of government-owned vehicles, equipment and components for III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF), Okinawa Japan to meet urgent /contingency deployment needs, which include all tactical, special purpose, support, and administrative wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, mobile communication equipment; container systems, avionics shelters and related ground/air equipment. The Corrosion Management Branch (CMB) provides a comprehensive, consolidated corrosion prevention and control program to mitigate and defeat the affects of corrosion on III MEF tactical ground equipment via: (1) providing 3rd and 4th echelon corrosion repair and prevention services within the Corrosion Repair Facility (CRF), and (2) staging and preservation of principle end items via induction into dehumidified covered storage at the Combat Ready Staging Program (CRSP). The Government may make single award to the responsible offer which is the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best value evaluation process. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the System for Award Management (SAM) in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004Alt I unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted offer. The solicitation (Request for Quote), when released, will be available electronically at the following web sites https://asia.neco.navy.mil/ under solicitation M67400-18-Q-0005. The solicitation also may be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed. Offers can be mailed, or e-mailed to the Contracting Office, U.S. Marine Corps RCO, MCB CAMP S. D.
