Description

This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24218R0291 - Repair all fire dampers deficiency located in buildings: 7, 57,135,143 at the New Jersey Healthcare System Lyons Campus, 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, NJ 07939 This shall be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a Proposal, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220, and has a Size Standards of $36.5 million. The cost estimate range for this project is $25,000 and $100,000. VA New Jersey Healthcare System 151 Knollcroft Road Lyons, New Jersey 07939 Statement of Work GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Title of Project: Repair all fire dampers deficiency located in buildings: 7, 57,135,143 at the Lyons VA Medical Center, 151 Knollcroft Road Lyons Campus 2. Scope of Work: * The Vendor shall provide all necessary materials and labor to inspect and repair all fire dampers deficiency for the following buildings: 7, 57,135,143, at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System 151 Knollcroft Road Lyons, New Jersey 07939. * The Vendor will inspect all fire dampers deficiency in buildings: 7, 57,135,143. *The Vendor will inspect for the following; broken temperature links, broken springs, broken access doors, damaged or broken fire dampers, broken linkage and any other signs of damage to the fire dampers. This includes all accessibility issues, no access doors, blocked access doors. Upon completion of inspection the vendor will report any discrepancies to the COR. *The Vendor will make necessary repairs using the procedures that are listed below. *Vendor will make a plan of action and will submit it to the COR and safety for approval. * Vendor will replace any damaged fire damper parts with equivalent of existing materials. * Vendor will take photographs of all broken and or blocked fire dampers. *Vendor will take photographs of all repaired fire dampers and or access doors. *Vendor will install access doors where needed to access fire dampers. * Vendor will move any and all obstruction blocking access to fire dampers. Including: pipes wires, ductwork, and walls. *Vendor will make all repairs, test all fire dampers and seal ductwork air tight. * Vendor will clean and remove debris from the sight daily 3. Background: Fire damper repairs building 7, 57,135,143 4. Performance Period: Working hour are from 8am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday except on federal holidays. A schedule will be set upon contract award by the COR, it is expected the work will be completed within 45 days. B. CONTRACT AWARD MEETING N/A C. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Contractor will repair and or replace all fire dampers in buildings 7, 57,135,143. Contractor will have at least 10 years of experience working with fire dampers. Contractor will have a job Forman at all times overseeing the fire damper project. - Upon Completion ensure that all debris is cleaned up and removed from VA premises by contractor. D. SPECIFIC MANDATORY TASKS AND ASSOCIATED DELIVERABLES - Contractor will follow all VA, OSHA, and EPA safety policies. - All repairs will be inspected by a VA contracting Officers Representative. SCHEDULE FOR DELIVERABLES N/A G. CHANGES TO STATEMENT OF WORK Any changes to this SOW shall be authorized and approved only through written correspondence from the CO. H. REPORTING REQUIREMENTS N/A I. TRAVEL [If applicable] N/A J. GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES [If applicable] N/A K. CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS All work shall be performed by competent personnel, experienced and qualified to work at a journeymen s level all work performed shall be first class in accordance with good manufacturing practices. L. CONFIDENTIALITY AND NONDISCLOSURE It is agreed that: 1. The preliminary and final deliverables, all associated working papers, and other material deemed relevant by VA which have been generated by the contractor in the performance of this task order, are the exclusive property of the U.S. Government and shall be submitted to the CO at the conclusion of the task order. 2. The CO will be the sole authorized official to release, verbally or in writing, any data, draft deliverables, final deliverables, or any other written or printed materials pertaining to this task order. No information shall be released by the contractor. Any request for information relating to this task order, presented to the contractor, shall be submitted to the CO for response. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL SECURITY REQUIREMENTS - TBD Project Completion: Period of Performance is 45 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about March 2, 2018. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. All prospective vendors must be currently registered in www.sam.gov, Dan and Bradstreet https://dnb.onelogin.com/login,and be registered and verified as a SDVOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
