THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System, 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119, is conducting market research. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334516. The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System has a need for brand name or equal a Bio Rad CFX96 Touch Real Time PCR Detection System. The system is a real-time PCR detection system that combines advanced optical technology with precise temperature control to deliver sensitive, reliable detection for singlexplex or multiplex reactions. BIO-RAD CFX96 TOUCH REAL-TIME PCR DETECTION SYSTEM (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL): The Contractor shall furnish all supplies, equipment, services and transportation required for delivery of the supplies and equipment. Pack of 50 white shell/ clear wheel PCR plate, ridge 2-compartment design - # HSP9601 MicroSeal B Adhes Seal, 100 pk - # MSB1001 SsoAdv Universal SYBR GRN SMX 500 - #1725271 iScript RT Supermix for RT qPCR- 100 Rxn - #1708841 Aurum Total RNA Mini Kit, DNA free RNA, includes RNA binding columns, capless wash and capped microcentrifuge tubes, lyophilized DNase I, RNase free reagents, for 50 preps - # 7326820 Specifications/salient characteristics: Must monitor amplification traces in real time Ability to combines advanced optical technology with precise temperature control to deliver sensitive, reliable detection for singlexplex or multiplex reactions. Must detect 6 filtered photodiodes Must detect 1 copy of target sequence in human genomic DNA Must visualize all run data at once and export only the data needed in the specified format Must have factory calibrated optics Must have thermal gradient feature Ability to minimize sample and reagent use - up to 5-target multiplexing with sample volumes as low as 10 µl Must be compatible with existing Bio-Rad equipment. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334516 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees.
