- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of small business manufacturers to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including any set-aside decision. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify small business manufacturers who can provide orthopedic power tools similar to the following equipment: Stryker cordless System 8 small bone drill/pieces/accessories: System 8 cordless driver System 8 sabo sagittal saw System 8 battery pack, small Universal battery charger ¼ locking keyless chuck ¼ drill with key Poweream ¼ keyed chuck Wire collet (.7-1.8mm) Pin collet (2.0-3.2mm) AO small drill Hudson/modified trinkle drill Trinkle drill Hudson/Modified trinkle reamer CD4/SABO2 insert tray/container We are also interested if possible replacement items are compatible with Stryker battery charging system (SmartLIFE Batteries, System 8, CD4, SABO2) and disposable Styrker saw blades, burrs and drill indexes. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Small Business Manufacturing Company Name, address, phone number, primary contact, email. Business size according to NAICS 339112 (i.e. SDVOSB, VOSB, 8A, WO, etc.). Any SD/VOSB firms should include their VIP registration. Information regarding manufacturing capability including possible part numbers and solutions to the items listed above, including the availability of interchangeable consumables. Please do not include generic line cards. Potential small business manufacturers having the capabilities necessary to manufacture/provide the above stated equipment are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Karen Rhodes at Karen.Rhodes@va.gov no later than 3:00 PM, PST, March 16, 2018. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. NAICS Code 339112 is applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Karen Rhodes via e-mail. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this Sources Sought Notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time.
