Statement of Work ***THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE USED TO DETERMINE THE CAPABILITY OF THE MARKET TO PERFORM THE REQUIREMENT AND TO IDENTIFY ANY INTERESTED VENDORS. NO PRICING INFO IS BEING REQUESTED HERE. IF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN A RESULTING FOLLOW-ON RFQ, PLEASE MARK YOURSELF AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR. YOU MAY ALSO SUBMIT INFORMATION ON YOUR CAPABILITY, BUT NOT REQUIRED*** The Alabama National Guard has a requirement to scan personnel and other official records that are currently stored on microfiche, microfilm, paper, and other physical media. This service procurement will be a comprehensive multi-year project to digitize the state's records, as necessatated by a statutory requirement prescribed in AR 25-400-2 (ARIMS), OMB and NARA directive m-12-18. The directives require that to the fullest extent possible, agencies eliminate paper and use electronic record keeping. It is applicable to all executive agencies and to all records, without regard to security classification or any other restriction. Services are to be performed in accordance with the SOW, attached here for reference only. Because this will be a multi-year project comprised of unknown quantities of service, the requirement will be advertised as an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract structure with a base year and four possible option years.
