Description

Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 17, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a firm-fixed priced contract to HERITAGE HEALTH SOLUTIONS, INC. for CBOC RX Contract. Contractor shall provide Veteran patients served by Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC s) a way to have emergent prescription needs filled. Contractor must always provide pharmacy services for formulary management and supply a retail pharmacy network to fill/dispense emergent prescriptions. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No contract will be awarded based on offers received in response to this notice; award is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5) and authorized by 38 U.S.C. 8127(c). Notice: the POC for this notice does not have a Federal Business Opportunities registration account. The POC does not have any visibility to the Interested Vendors List tab within the notice. Interested firms must respond directly to the POC email address listed in the notice for consideration. This Notice is not a request for proposals or quotations. However, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by 11:00am Central Standard Time on 03/09/2018 by email to robert.kelleyii@va.gov to Robert Kelley. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the government. Any info received in response to this notice shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
