- The attached PWS is a DRAFT document. The Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) is seeking input from 8(a) business sources for its requirement for Non-Emergency Motor Vehicle Operators. This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) to the ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary. These exchanges are in support of market research being conducted by WHS/AD to determine if there are 8(a) businesses in the market that provide these services and the adequacy of the PWS. This includes its clarification of contract requirements, completeness of the PWS, examination of performance metric for realism, and contract type. While WHS/AD is targeting 8(a) businesses, firms of all sizes and socioeconomic backgrounds are welcome to submit their capabilities. Specifically, WHS/AD would like information and comments on the following: 1. A brief two or three page synopsis of similar work performed in the past. In addition, the respondent shall address its experience supplying personnel who have the requisite qualifications set forth in the PWS. Further, be sure to provide the dollar's value of the experience(s) provided. 2. The adequacy of the information in the PWS and RFI. 3. Validation of applicable NAICS Code for this requirement. a. 485999 - All Other Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation. 4. Your status as an 8(a) vendor (and/or any other socioeconomic categories your firm has). 5. Your ability to provide these services in the Gulfport, Mississppi region. 6. Your interest in bidding on the requirement. 7. If there are any other questions or comments, please submit them along with your response. All responses to this RFI shall be submitted no later than Monday, March 5 2018, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Please limit your response to no more than five (5) pages (excluding questions), using Time New Roman 12 pt. font or equivalent. WHS/AD may have one-on-one sessions (telephonically) with respondents after feedback has been received.
