- THIS IS AN INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO FAR 6.301-2 Only One Responsible Source. THIS CONSTITUTES THE ONLY WRITTEN NOTICE. NO OTHER NOTICE OR SOLICITATION SHALL BE ISSUED AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541512 with a Size Standard of $ 27.5 Million. The estimated award value of this action is $15,000,000.00. The period of performance for this action is: April 1, 2018 through September 20, 2019. BACKGROUND The United States Census Bureau (USCB) is responsible for the reliable collection, preparation, tabulation and dissemination of demographic and economic statistics to meet the overall mission and strategic goals and objectives of the 2020 Census. An Integrated System of Systems (SoS) is a critical component of the 2020 Census Program. In August 2016, a competitive award was made to T-Rex Solutions LLC., to fulfill the role of Technical Integrator (TI) for the 2020 Decennial Census including the requirement to provide an integration facility. The TI is required to integrate the efforts of other related 2020 Decennial contracts. The award requires the TI to work, collaborate, and integrate with other 2020 Decennial support contracts (PEGA, C-SHARPs, dDaaS, dFIT, DSC). As a key component of this requirement, the TI is required to continue to maintain a space to perform 2020 Technical Integration services. This contractor operated space is critical to creating a forum for collaboration and integration of 2020 Census programs and the 2020 SoS. The space must accommodate and integrate the required IT and network equipment including physical security. REQUIREMENT The Technical Integrator for the 2020 Census is required to provide a facility to be used as part of their solution for integration services. The government makes no commitment to continue services beyond the period of performance. INTERESTED PARTIES Interested parties may submit responses that demonstrate the ability of the respondent to meet the integration facility requirements without disruption to the schedule for the existing integration project. This announcement is SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for the integration facility. A determination NOT to compete this requirement upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the Government's discretion. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 calendar days from the publication of this announcement, a modification to the contract will be issued, without further notice.
