AMENDMENT NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is BENNING316THCOMBATIVEFKB011 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 0 with a small business size standard of 0.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2018-03-05 13:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be in the Special Shipping Instructions. The MICC End User requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: Tactical Training Suit (Special Operations Combative) and accessories. SIZE MEDIUM -------------------------- WILL INCLUDE: HELMET The form-fitting helmet easily adjusts to a comfortable fit with a quick-lace, simple method allowing you to tighten the helmet one-handed with just the use of your thumb All-around head protection is provided through D3O ฎ, offering total safety and making the helmet light and comfortable, encouraging the operator to wear the helmet longer The eye shield allows greater visibility and peripheral vision The visor is scratch resistant and has anti-fog coating One size fits all TORSO The torso piece is long, designed to fit and protect those with long torsos. It features an adjustable cummerbund for a snug, safe fit during the most intense training situations On the front is a clear plastic pocket to hold Opposing Force (OP FOR) identification and/or for running scenarios where you need visual recognition of subjects to differentiate multiple wearers of the SOC Suit. Also great for labeling suits when storing several at a time The back of the torso piece is angled so it allows greater flexibility and aids in cuffing The shoulder pads are removable for realistic fighting and flexibility For reinforced protection, the D3O ฎ padding is used strategically to deflect the impact from hits and strikes during intense training The outer material is constructed from a Biocide vinyl Laminate BOTTOMS Designed with training in mind, the bottoms include a concealed inner pocket to carry training weapons like knives, guns, grenades, and more For best fit, the bottoms include removable padding allowing you to determine the coverage you need for your thighs and hip area, affording you greater flexibility Innovative D3O ฎ padding is used in strategic locations for ultimate protection ELBOW/FOREARM PADS The pads feature a unique slip-on design, making it fast to suit up and comfortable for the wearer Easily adjustable, the pads are made of soft, flexible Lycra ฎ with Biocide treatment to protect against biological growth Elbow pads are ergonomically designed to stay in place and avoid slippage, while providing joint support KNEE/SHIN GUARDS Designed for comfort and protection, the guards include D3O ฎ padding for more protection for training The guards are constructed from Biocide-treated Lycra ฎ to defend the wearer against infection OTHER ACCESSORIES Neck Guard, 2, EA; LI 002: Tactical Training Suit (Special Operations Combative)and accessories.
