- Brand Name Justification Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, Phoenix, AZ Office has a requirement for 10 Each Pressure Gauges, General Electric Model DAO963049001 for use on a 345KV FX 12 Type Power Circuit Breaker also manufactured by General Electric. This is a brand name requirement and substitutes will not be accepted. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ). The assigned NAICS is 335999 with a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement will be solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated and only new equipment will be accepted. Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about March 9, 2018. Any questions shall be submitted in writing to Western Area Power Administration, Attn: Greg Cagle, Contract Specialist, 615 S. 43rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009-5313 or email to cagle@wapa.gov referencing the solicitation number in the subject line. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
