Description

Acquisition Improvement Initiative AGENCY: Department of the Navy Office: Naval Sea Systems Command Location: NAVSEA HQ It is the Navy's intention to collaborate with industry as often and as early as possible, the Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC), is hosting ship repair industry meetings to discuss 1) Private Sector Improvement Initiatives initially introduced during the January 2018 Surface Navy Association, private sector - Navy engagement session and 2) Dry Docking technical discussion to investigate efficiency and effectiveness initiatives. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 6th 2017 beginning at 0730. Meeting starting location is CNRMC's Robin Hood Road facility, 2510 Walmer Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23513. The Dry Dock technical meeting will break off and move to the Corporate office of Valkyrie Enterprises, 4460 Corporation Lane, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. If you do not have a CAC or photo NAVSEA badge, you will need a visit request on file with Ms. Karen White and a driver's license or passport. If you do not have a CAC, photo NAVSEA badge, or visit request & other government issued ID you will not be able to participate. The SMO Code for the Robin Hood Road facility is 000244.
