- SOLICITATION HAS BEEN POSTED UNDER CORRECTED SOLICITATION NUMBER N0025 3 18Q0073. PLEASE SEARCH UNDER THE CORRECTED SOLICITATION NUMBER FOR A COPY OF THE RFQ DOCUMENT. NO COPY OF THE RFQ WILL BE ATTACHED TO THIS POSTING. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for a Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) System consisting of an SEM source capable of variable pressure operation, a sample manipulator, control computer(s), video monitors, spare parts, and any associated consumables and accessories. The operator must be able to easily control all functions for attaining and viewing an SEM image while manipulating the sample specimen in near real-time using a motorized stage and dedicated knob set controls for magnification and focus. Electrical Power for the SEM system at 110V and 220V, 60 Hz, or 230V, 3 phase (standard United States power sources). The SEM shall have a Tungsten pre-centered filament, and provide a minimum image resolution of 3.0 nanometers in high vacuum mode at 30 keV, 4.0 nanometers in variable pressure (low vacuum) mode at 30 keV, and 8.0 nanometers in high vacuum mode at 3 keV. The minimum magnification range shall be from 5X to 300,000X. Additional specification requirements will be included in the solicitation. Pricing shall include all SEM components, assembly and installation on-site at NUWC Keyport, and training. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-C9. Applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334516 and has a size standard of 1000. The solicitation, N0025318Q0073, is anticipated to be issued on or about 28 Feb 2018 as an unrestricted, commercial requirement under FAR Part 13.5. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. Failure to respond to the solicitation and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render the offeror non-responsive and result in rejection of same. Offerors are required to provide FOB Destination pricing to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610.
