Description
Request for Information The government is issuing this RFI as part of its market research for Projects ID08180011 and ID081800XX. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute a solicitation, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. If the government determines to issue a solicitation at a later date, based on responses to this RFI, then the solicitation may be issued via FedBizOpps or any other mode determined to be appropriate. No award will be made as a result of this RFI. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the government. Any information that the Contractor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. All submissions become government property and will not be returned, including any proprietary information. The USMC has two requirements for aircraft maintenance utilized at Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, CA, by the Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 101 (VMFAT-101) and the Marine Aircraft Group (MAG 11). The most important objective of these requirements will be to provide safe flyable aircraft to execute the unit's daily flight schedule. "O" Level maintenance support to be provided by the contractor will include, but not limited to, the following tasks: scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; maintenance control planning and management; aircraft maintenance action documentation via logs, records, forms, and electronic means; flight line operations/functions; support equipment operation and inspections; aircraft inspections; aircraft movement; corrosion control/aircraft painting; troubleshooting; preservation and depreservation; general aircraft maintenance; and quality assurance and maintenance safety. All responses should be based only on the information contained in this RFI, as any additional documentation submitted by the contractor may not be reviewed by the government. Completed questionnaires shall be submitted no later than 9:00 a.m. MST on March 16, 2018 to Tracie.Gutierrez@gsa.gov and David.Poppe@gsa.gov. Contractors who do not respond to this RFI are not excluded from any resulting solicitation(s); for all Contractors will be required to submit a proposal in accordance with the final solicitation instructions.
