Description

SOURCES SOUGHT. NO SOLICITATION EXIST This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research purposes ONLY. This information will be used to determine the availability of vendors capable of meeting the Government ™s minimum requirements. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center is looking for sources to determine whether there are potentially qualified BUSINESS concerns capable of the specifications of the attached DRAFT Performance Work statement (PWS) for Cable Maintenance for NAS Pensacola. This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation to bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential Offerors for market research purposes. NAICS Code: 517311, Wired Telecommunications Carriers Description/Scope of Work: See the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm- Fixed-Price (FFP) contract, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of D316, telecommunications Network Management Services, NAICS code of 517311 with a size standard of $32.5 Million. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Responses to this sources sought notice shall not exceed five (5) pages and shall be prepared using Times New Roman font no smaller than 12 point. The technical capabilities statement shall include: A cover page containing the company ™s name, address, CAGE code, DUNS number, years in business, affiliate information, parent company, joint venture partners, NAICS code 517311, business size/socio-economic status, Government business point-of-contact name, phone number, and email address. Provide a statement of past and current ability to meet all rapid gate requirements for access to military sites/property/ installations. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought notice or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation package will be accepted because there is no solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) will not be provided and no appointments for presentation will be made. Responses shall be submitted via NECO by 4:00 P.M. EST, March 5th, 2017. Any questions about the draft PWS must be submitted in writing to robert.s.belisle@navy.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. Disclaimer and Important Note. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contact or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization ™s qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Confidentiality. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s). NOTE: The contractor must show proof of license /agreement that they are able to perform maintenance on Bell South /AT and T owned cabling and infrastructure previously referred to as CESL-177.
