Description

Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 for the Radiology Department at the South Texas VA Medical Center, 9102 Floyd Curl Dr, San Antonio, TX 78229 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Scandidos Inc, 5550 Nobel Drive Ste 210, Fitchburg, WI 53711. Scandidos is the sole manufacturer and sole distributor for their line of equipment and maintenance agreements. The Government believes that only one source can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Other sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Monday, March 12, 2018 at 1:00PM CST. Such information will be used for determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
