Sources Sought Synopsis with Contractor Capability Survey Sources Sought Synopsis AN/ALQ-172(V) Countermeasures System (CMS) Engineering Services CAUTION: This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to sources that possess the capabilities to modify the AN/ALQ-172(V) Operational Flight Program (OFP), other system software tools, and support equipment software; provides solutions to sustaining engineering inquiries; and performs system and software deficiency analyses. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. The level of security clearance is Secret. Foreign participation in this requirement is forbidden. PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the capabilities to modify the AN/ALQ-172(V) Operational Flight Program (OFP), other system software tools, and support equipment software; provides solutions to sustaining engineering inquiries; and performs system and software deficiency analyses. These efforts support adequate and complete testing of the AN/ALQ-172(V) OFPs and the situational awareness and self-protection capability for the AFSOC MC-130H, AFSOC AC-130U and AFGSC B-52H weapon systems and associated support software. Our acquisition strategy is a 19 month Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity ( IDIQ) contract, FY18-19, sustainment engineering services for the AN/ALQ-172(V) CMS and associated support equipment. This contract will support both Air Force Global Strike B52 and Air Force Special Operation Command C130 aircraft. Attachment 1, Performance Work Statement (PWS), ALQ-172 PWS 26 Sep 14, covers the general work and security requirements applicable to engineering support for the AN/ALQ-172(V) System.
