- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY) NOTICE ONLY, NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED AS SUCH. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this notice, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purpose only and will not be released. Vendor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. Potential sources must demonstrate experience and knowledge of required equipment, services and capability to provide said service. Potential sources shall submit: Business name, address, point of contact and phone number Business size, any applicable socio-economic category and DUNS number Information for recent/relevant projects similar in nature/size and complexity along with contract number(s), Capability statement and product literature demonstrating ability to meet all of the requirements listed Identification of company s GSA/Federal Supply Schedules (Group 66 III) The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334516, small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Requirements: Contractor shall provide point of care testing instrumentation and reagents capable of meeting all of the following under a cost per test (CPT) agreement: FDA approved, handheld, battery operated, single point of care device capable of performing (or calculating) all tests as indicated below. Testing cartridge/reagent configurations to include individual analytes and specific panel configurations for waived and non-waived testing as listed below. Quality Control, calibrators, calibration verification and linearity materials included in CPT pricing 24-hour Replacement/Depot service for non-operational devices Proprietary comprehensive Data Management System to integrate point of care testing devices across the healthcare system interface test results from each device into VA VistA Lab package through the point of care interface track operators and manage competency generate quality management reports Separate ACT assays must be available to provide for monitoring the following: high level heparin anticoagulation therapy moderate and high level heparin anticoagulation therapy FDA approved for testing on arterial, venous, and capillary blood samples Required test menu Activated Clotting Time (ACT) BUN Chloride (Cl) Creatinine (Creat) Glucose (Glu) HCO3* pCO2 Base Excess (BE) * sO2* PCO2 PO2 TCO2* pH Hematocrit (Hct) Hemoglobin (Hgb)* Lactate Ionized Calcium (iCa) Potassium (K) PT/INR Sodium (Na) Troponin-I BNP (brain natriuretic peptide) Anion Gap* *refers to a calculated test result Individual Analytes: The device shall perform these tests individually. PT/INR Troponin- I BNP Glucose (waived testing status when specific sample collection requirements are met) Creatinine (waived testing status when specific sample collection requirements are met) ACT Panel Cartridge Configurations: The device shall perform the following testing panel configurations. Blood Gas panel - pH, PCO2, PO2, TCO2*, HCO3*, BE*, and sO2* Blood Gas panel plus Lactate- Lactate, pH, PCO2, PO2, TCO2*, HCO3*, BE* & sO2* Blood Gas, chem tests plus H/H - Hct, Hgb, pH, PCO2, PO2, TCO2*, HCO3*, BE*, sO2*, Na, K, iCa, & Glu Waived Panel Cartridge Configurations: The device shall perform the following testing panel cartridge configurations shall be available with deemed waived status when specific sample collection requirements are met. 8 test chem panel plus H/H Na, K, Cl, TCO2*, iCa, Glu, BUN, Creat, anion gap*, Hgb* and Hct 5 test chem panel plus H/H - Na, K, Cl, Glu, BUN, Hgb* and Hct VISN 16 Locations: Alexandria VAMC Pineville, LA Gulf Cost Veterans Healthcare System Biloxi, MS G.
