Description

A. The Government is executing a sources sought for the purposes of determining if there are qualified services disabled veteran owned small business concerns (SDVOSB) that would have the capability to provide garbage or waste removal at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery San Antonio, TX. The pending requirement will be for a base and four option periods, for a total of five years. A historic identification of generic requirements has been as follows: The Contractor will execute the required trash/debris roll-off services at the Houston National Cemetery. Historically, the required container size to be provided by the contractor has been a 30-cubic yard open-top roll-off. Historical service frequency, as required by the federal government, has been once a week. The contractor will haul and transfer the trash from the Fort Sam Houston Cemetery to the Waste landfill. B. Any interested source would need to provide a detailed Capability Statement/Resume that would support how the contractor would be able to execute requirements based on the following Technical Criteria (Subject to change upon release of a formal Request for Proposal): COMPANY EXPERIENCE - Experience of prime company (firm to submit offer) or proposed subcontractors in performing this type of service requirement based on the following criteria. The Government requires a minimum of three year s (most recent three years), full-time experience providing trash and waste removal services of a comparable scope. STAFF AVAILABILITY - The prime company (firm to submit offer) or proposed subcontractors possess current or pending staff to provide the required services in the required geographical location. CURRENT EQUIPMENT - The prime company (firm to submit offer) or proposed subcontractors possess the required equipment and transportation to execute the pending service requirement. Identify the type, make, and model of your company owned or leased equipment. NOTE: Other Small Business or Large Business concerns are encouraged to submit capability statements should the Government receive insufficient sources to issue the pending requirement as a 100% Set-Aside for SDVOSB concerns. This Sources Sought is for market research purposes only, and proposals will not be accepted at this time. E-Mail or Telephonic Inquiries will not be accepted in conjunction with this Sources Sought.
