Solicitation #: N4523A18R1061 This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) by Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) Code 440 Contracting. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96. This solicitation is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 336611 with a size limit of 1,250 employees. Please see the attached file N4523A18R1061 Combined Synopsis Solicitation. The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) is soliciting for quotes on performing hull preservation life-cycle maintenance work on eight Harbor Security Boats (HSB). Work will be accomplished at the Contractor's facility. The Government is seeking responses from offerors that can perform the following work: HSBs have the following specifications: Six -- 36 FT Moose Boat Aluminum Catamaran Length: 36-FT Draft (Full Load): 4-FT 5-IN Model: M2-35 Engine: Cummins QSB5.9 380 HO Marine Diesel Manufacturer Year: 2006 Weight: 15,400 LBS Hull Type: Aluminum, Catamaran One -- 36 FT Moose Boat Aluminum Catamaran Length: 36-FT Draft (Full Load): 4-FT 5-IN Model: M2-35 Engine: Cummins QSB5.9 380 HO Marine Diesel Manufacturer Year: 2004 Weight: 15,400 LBS Hull Type: Aluminum, Catamaran One -- 28 FT Sea Ark Harbor Security Boat Length: 28-FT, Width: 10-FT Engine: Mercury Verdo Model: Dauntless Hoist Weight: 16,000 LBS Manufacturer Year: 1999 Hull Type: Aluminum Work includes blocking and conducting hull preservation and life cycle maintenance on eight HSB Vessels moored in Hood Canal. The paint system currently on the 36 FT Moose Boat Aluminum Catamarans and the 28 FT Sea Ark Harbor Security Boat is AWLGRIP, EP-Prime 1000 and E-Paint SN-1 (anti-fouling paint). The vessels are required to be preservered with paint systems identified in Attachment J-1 HSB Statement of Work 14FEB18. Expected Period of Performance: The Contractor should expect specified work for Phase 1 to take place from the Effective/Award Date on the awarded SF 1449. Phase 2 work will commence approximately 12 months after work is completed on the respective vessels outlined in the Phase 1 work and is outlined in each Phase 2 CLIN description. Work is estimated to take 21 calendar days per boat to complete. Phase 3 work will commence approximately 12 months after work is completed on the respective vessels outlined in the Phase 2 work and is outlined in each Phase 3 CLIN description. The initial delivery date and start of the period of performance per vessel shall be set by mutual agreement dependent upon vessel availability within the ordering period of this contract.
