- Description
- 2 V2.0 9-22 SECTION 1 STATEMENT OF WORK/BID SCHEDULE The optogalvanic cell will be used in a laser diagnostics setup to provide a stationary reference for a class IV laser. The optogalvanic cell is also known as a see-through hollow cathode. Specifications 3x Optogalvanic Cell with Xenon-Neon fill gas • The fill gas is approximately 4 Torr Xenon and 3 Torr Neon with a purity of 99.99% • The electrodes is made of one of the following materials: Silver, Gold, Platinum, Molybdenum, Carbon, Boron • The cell is designed to ignite at 500 V max • The cell is designed to maintain a stable plasma • The cell is designed to allow a laser beam of diameter up to 2 mm to pass through the plasma • Optical access for the cell has >80% optical transmission in the range of 200 to 2000 nm • The normal for the optical access for the cell should optionally have a 5 to 15 deg angle with respect to the laser axis. This is to avoid reflecting laser light back to the laser. 3x Sockets for Optogalvanic Cell • Compatible with the pin configuration of the Optogalvanic Cell listed above Note: Regarding the provided quotation. That quote is an example of what could satisfy the specifications. It is not a sole source request. I am requesting open competition to see if there are other sources who can provide these optogalvanic cells. 3 V2.0 9-22 SECTION 2 INSTRUCTION TO OFFERORS ☒52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jan 2017) Addendum to 52.212-1 Quotes for the item(s) described in the RFQ are due by 2/21/2018 by 3 p.m. PT to Victoria C.
