Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI). There is no solicitation available at this time. This RFI is posted for planning and market research only. This RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bids. This RFI does not commit the Government to issue any type of solicitation or award a contract. This RFI does not restrict the Government from a particular acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse any respondent for any cost associated with information submitted in response to this Sources Sought RFI. NAVAIR-1.4 Non-Standard Programs (NSP) has a requirement for exportable MX-series electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) turrets. These MX-10 Multi-Sensor Systems shall be integrated onto various fixed wings Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) systems to provide critical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) support for a range of Navy-specific missions and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) partnerships building efforts. The Contractor shall provide an estimated quantity of twenty-four (24) MX-series electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) turrets. The Contractor shall manufacture, validate and deliver equipment as required by the Government. Acceptance shall be by Government personnel. This procurement is structured into three areas, as follows: Base Procurement of one (1) MX-10D System; Optional Procurement of twenty three (23) options of one (1) MX-10D System each; and twenty four (24) extended 12 month warranty options for each MX-10D System.
