Description

DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide all required design, labor, materials, licenses, and testing to accomplish this project to upgrade the Central Energy Plant at the Lake Nona VA Hospital. Upgrade will consist of Five (5) Elements: 1) Repair and upgrade SCADA system for emergency generators to include conversion to a redundant client-server configuration. 2) Reconfigure Chiller Pump system control interface from Envirosep controls into existing Johnson Controls System. 3) Install Reverse Osmosis water filtration system for hot water boilers and integrate into CEP boiler water feed system. 4) Convert Existing outdoor lighting for Water Storage tank to long-life LED system. 5) Replace existing, faulty 18 water valve used for chilled water flow control. Project No./Title: 675-17-600/Upgrade Central Energy Plant Work Location: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Estimated Target Completion Period: 210 calendars days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. NAICS 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Constructions. Size Standard is $36.5 Million. Product Service Code Z1DA This is a design-build project/solicitation that will use the trade-off source selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 20, 2018. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov At the time of proposal submission, contractors must have current registration/certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.SAM.GOV and VetBiz at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Proposals of contractors not registered/certified in both databases will not be considered for award. Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications.
