- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 3 NSNs with the item description, PARTS KIT, SPECIALIZED. The FSC for all 3 items on this requirement is 2590. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract issued under FAR Part 15 with a 3 year base period and 2 option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. The Government may elect to make a split award by awarding two contracts under this solicitation in order to maintain multiple viable manufacturing sources to preserve competition. Small Business Size Standard is 1000 for NAICS 336992 and 750 for NAICS 336390. 100% small business set aside. Full & Open Competition after exclusion of sources applies. The solicitation will be available on March 2, 2018 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. For FDT program transportation requirements, see DLAD clauses 52.247-9059 F.O.B. Origin, Government Arranged Transportation and 52.247-9058, First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program - Shipments Originating Outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). Additional information about FDT can be found on the FDT website (http://www.dla.mil/FDTPI/). Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
