Description
Past Performance Questionnaire Solicitation Contract Data Requirements List 11 Contract Data Requirements List 10 Contract Data Requirements List 09 Contract Data Requirements List 08 Contract Data Requirements List 07 Contract Data Requirements List 06 Contract Data Requirements List 05 Contract Data Requirements List 04 Contract Data Requirements List 03 Contract Data Requirements List 02 Contract Data Requirements List 01 This is a new requirements. There is no incumbent. The Department of Defense (DoD), Joint Program Committee 1 (JPC-1), Medical Simulation and Information Sciences Research Program (MSISRP) is requesting research and development (R&D) efforts for Integumentary Skin for Patient Surrogates Component (referenced in this Statement of Objectives as "Integrated Skin "). Integrated Skin is a line of R&D that serves as a one of the modular technologies for the Patient Surrogate Component within the Virtual Patient Sub-system (VPS). The VPS supports the future Program of Record known as the Joint Evacuation and Transport Simulation System with potential for extension to the Patient Surrogates Component of the Point of Injury and Trauma Simulation Program. VPS requires modular patient surrogate capabilities as envisioned within the JETS modular mannequin (AMM). The JPC-1/MSISRP Integrated Skin Request for Proposal (RFP) is seeking research proposals in the development and evaluation of synthetic material properties that are able to replicate the properties of integumentary skin for the purposes of medical simulation training. The proposed work must align with a flexible and modular JETS mannequin concept along with current and future modular part-task training and education simulation capabilities. The proposal must provide design integration with an open source physiology research engine platform for data and information to and from the integumentary peripheral that attaches to a modular manikin-like Core or to other full-body or part-task trainers. Please review the full package and submit any questions, comments, packages, documents, etc. to both points of contact listed.
