- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, San Antonio, TX, is issuing this sources sought on behalf of the North Texas Veterans Health Care Hospital located in Dallas, TX. The VA has a requirement to procure a 24 patient monitoring systems, similar or equal to the AvaSys Telesitter mobile units (Part No. AVA-M-0101-D-FIPS). The monitoring system will be discretely placed in patient rooms and accessed from a central observation and communications station through built-in two-way audio channels. The requirement has the following minimum specifications: Offer digital two-way audio communication with patient Allows monitor watcher to sound an audible alert in the patient room alerting staff of an urgent situation Offer privacy mode to ensure compliance with HIPPA regulations Installation services - which include the project planning, engineering and management, travel cost and time, server setup, cart assembly and prep, cart initialization and test verification, observer station setup and BioMed/IT training Clinical training services - which include the project planning and management, travel cost and time, observer station training, department manager training, global manager training, department floor awareness training, Go-Live support and two follow-up training days within 180 days Project Manager to coordinate tasks, resources and timelines for the technical implementation, clinical policies and procedures, training and Go-Live. 24x7 technical support 4 12-month software and hardware maintenance periods We are seeking service disabled Veteran-owned or Veteran-owned small businesses capable of meeting the VA s requirement.
