Description

The U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. hereby announces its intent to award a sole-source contract to the Center for Research Libraries (CRL). CRL is a consortium of more than 240 college, university, and independent research libraries that makes available through interlibrary loan and digital delivery approximately five million publications, archives, and collections and one million digital resources to its member libraries to supplement their humanities, science, and social science holdings. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quotation (RFQ); it is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP or as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. All interested parties that feel they can provide a comparable alternative to this source OR have any objection to this sole-source award should forward their statement in writing to vivian.malta.civ@mail.mil. This notice will close on Thursday, February 15, 2018.
