Description

The Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP), Howard University and the DC Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to host a Small Businesses Workshop. This event features an exciting lineup of speakers from DoD and industry. Topics that will be covered include policy changes, cybersecurity requirements and mentor-protege programs. There is no cost to attend; however, seating is limited and advance registration is required. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Small businesses interested in learning about category management and how to comply with DoD's cybersecurity requirements should attend this event. Small businesses interested in learning about the mentor-protege programs managed by DoD and the Small Business Administration should also attend. PARKING & TRANSIT Public transit is recommended. Parking is available at The Banneker Parking Lot on Georgia Ave. behind McDonalds. The Banneker Parking Lot is located on the 2300 block of Sherman Avenue, N.W. (2334 Sherman Avenue, N.W.).
