Description
Apache Capability Enhancements (ACE) Industry Days on 21-22 February 2018 The Apache Development and Modernization Product Office, PM Dev/Mod, is hosting an Apache Capability Enhancements (ACE) Industry Days on 21-22 February 2018 at Torch Technologies, 4035 Chris Dr. SW, Huntsville, AL 35802. The purpose of ACE Industry Days is to provide Industry an up-to-date overview of the Apache Project Management Office strategy, approach, process, and overall Battle Rhythm for Apache Capability Enhancements (ACE) as well as provide updates on modernization activities and enabling engineering approaches. On Day 1 of the Industry Days, the Apache Development and Modernization Product Office will provide presentations and updates covering AH-64E V6 status, PEO Aviation Future Operations, Apache Modernization, enabling technologies/ engineering practices/ architectures, Readiness Levels, and Apache Sensors Modernization. On Day 2 of the Industry Days, PM Dev/Mods will offer 15 minute sessions for Industry presentations. Industry Sessions will be limited to presentation of information, there will be no Question and Answer interaction. The purpose of the Industry sessions is to provide companies an opportunity to offer a high-level overview of the company's core competencies, products/services offered, and highlight any of its Internal Research and Development (IR&D) activities past, current and/or future. Draft Agenda (Subject to Updates) Day 1 - 21 February 2018 0900-1600 Introduction and Administration Opening Comments AH-64E V6 Update PEO Aviation Modernization Update Apache Modernization Update Other Transaction Authority Readiness Levels Overview Modernization enabling engineering practices/ architectures (Open System Architecture and Model Based Systems Engineering) Apache Capability Gap Identification / Requirements Process Apache Modernization Priorities and Roadmap Apache Sensors Modernization Update to include Targeting and Pilotage Sensor RFI Update Apache Sensors Modernization Roadmap Closing Comments Day 2 - 22 February 2018 0900-1600 Individual Sessions with Industry (15 minute Sessions) While the primary format of these ACE Industry Days is to provide industry with information about Apache Modernization, PM Apache will provide a 30 day period after the event for companies to provide written questions pertaining to the Targeting and Pilotage Sensor Request for Information (RFI). Questions may be submitted via note cards at this industry days event or following the event via email as described below. The U.S. Government will respond to any questions submitted to this announcement within 60 days of the closing date of questions. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, all questions must be submitted in writing to the identified point(s) of contact below. Attendance is limited to 2 representatives per company. A request for both attendance and visit request must be received no later than 4:00 PM CST on 14 February 2018. The attendance request must be submitted via email and must state 'RE: ACE Industry Days Attendance Confirmation W58RGZ-18-R-0142'. Please submit confirmation e-mail to the identified point(s) of contact below. The confirmation e-mail must include company name & address, company's product & services, representative(s) attending, contact information, and country of citizenship. Due to the nature of this effort, attendance is limited to U.S. citizens only. Visit Request Instructions: All Apache Capability Enhancements (ACE) Industry Days attendees will require visit request be submitted and approved in order to participate. As ACE Industry Days is being held at a facility not located on Redstone Arsenal, visit request WILL NOT include access to Redstone Arsenal or Apache's facility on Redstone Arsenal. Please submit your visit request for each individual attending via JPAS to SMO Code: W0H9AA4RG; via fax to 256-313-1560; or via AMRDEC safe site https://safe.amrdec.army.mil/safe/ with the following information NLT 4:00 PM CST on 14 February 2018. Please submit Industry session request e-mail to the identified point(s) of contact below. The 15 minute Industry Session request must be received no later than 14 February 2018. Due to the nature of this effort, attendance is limited to U.S. citizens only. Upon receipt of your confirmation email of attendance, please expect an email of visit request instructions. The submission of any information is solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes and is not a request for competitive proposals, quotations or an invitation to reimburse contractors for either effort or associated costs to respond or for any information provided. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with attending industry days or providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contact. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) site for additional information pertaining to this notice. Follow-up discussions may be conducted with respondents. It is desirable that data be received with unlimited rights to the Government. Nevertheless, we recognize that proprietary data may be included with the information provided. If so, clearly mark such proprietary information and clearly separate it from the unrestricted information as an addendum.
