Description

The Department of Veterans SAO Central, Network Contracting Office 10, located at 3140 Governor s Place Blvd., Suite 210, Kettering, OH 45409 intends to enter into a sole source urgent purchase order agreement with Karl Storz Endoscopy-America, 2151 Grand Ave, El Segundo, CA., under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339112 and the Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. Interested parties may give written notice to John.tschirhart@va.gov by 4:00pm e.s.t. on February 14, 2018. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses received from responsible sources by 4:00pm e.s.t. on February 14, 2018 will be considered by the Government. Inquiries shall be emailed to John.tschirhart@va.gov. No telephone request will be accepted. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
