- Description
- The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project is for the Repair of a High Temperature Water Generator at Malmstrom AFB, (Great Falls) Montana. Work consists of the contractor providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to conduct all repairs or maintenance requirements in accordance with the project specifications, drawings and blueprints. Specifically The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials to replace 93 roof tubes and 93 crossover tubes of the combustion chamber of the High Temperature Water Generator #3. Tubes will be manufactured per manufacture specifications except minimum tube wall thickness will be modified from.109 to.120. Roof tubes will be connected 2 feet down the front wall and rolled, welded and rolled again into header per manufactured specifications. Crossover tubes will be connected at the butt weld of the previous rear wall repair and rolled, welded, and rolled again into header per manufactured specifications. All tiles, block, insulation, sheeting, and tuyeres (tuyeres will be saved and reused) will be removed and replaced according to manufacturer specifications. Contractor shall dispose of all materials removed during repair to include tiles, block, insulation, sheeting, and tubes. Contractor shall provide all documentation and inspections as required by State and Federal requirements. The contactor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials to replace all insulation, sheeting and refractory of the combustion chamber of the High Temperature Generator #3 per manufacturer specification. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 1 March 2018. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 30 March 2018. The Performance Period for this project is one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is open to 100 percent small business in accordance with the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://ccr.edi.disa.mil/ccragent/p/sq1/ccr.welcome). All responsible sources must submit an offer good through 30 April 2018, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/). The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
