Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. The RFQ number is N50054-18-R-0015. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-96 and DFARS Publication Notice 20171208. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/index.html and https://www.acquisition.gov/far/. The NAICS code is 333923 and the Small Business Standard is 1250 employees, however the proposed contract is being solicited as OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN competition. The Small Business Office concurs with dissolving the set-aside. The proposed contract action is for a Sole Source procurement. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification documentation is attached. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) intends to solicit to only one source, Lake Shore Systems Inc as detailed in the justification and approval for other than full and open competition. The list of material to be purchased from Lake Shore Systems Inc. is included as Attachment: LIST OF MATERIAL. Delivery is required by 21 May, 2018 or 80 days ARO ; Delivery Location is DLA Distribution Norfolk RMC PROJ, BUNKER HILL TOWAWAY, BLDG X136 NORFOLK, VA. 23511. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: See Attachment: FULL SOLICITATION. This announcement will close at 10:00a.m. EST on 20 February, 2018.
