- Title: U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, BALTIMORE DISTRICT, SUPERVISORY TRAINING - BALTIMORE, MARYLAND W912DR1800003 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, requests CAPABILITY STATEMENTS FROM ALL QUALIFIED AND INTERESTED PARTIES FROM Small Business (SB) Firms, Certified 8(a) Firms, Certified Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HubZone) Firms, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB, and Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District has been tasked to solicit and award up to two (2) firm-fixed-price services contracts to provide supervisory training to the supervisory staff of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 611430 - Professional and Management Development Training; with a size standard of $11.0M. The Government intends to solicit a Request for Proposal for a Training Services Contract to provide supervisory training to approximately 240 supervisory staff of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District. The required training will be given in approximately eight sessions each lasting about four-hours with a class size for each session of approximately thirty students. Most of the training sessions will be held at the Baltimore District Office at 2 Hopkins Plaza, Baltimore, MD, however a few of the training sessions will be held at field offices located within a three hour drive of the District office. Only one training topic will be covered within each contract consisting of eight training sessions as described above. Topics could include Time Management, Critical communication or other supervisory related topics. The duration of the contract will be approximately 150 calendar days. Prior experience with preparing and providing supervisory training will be required. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under this sources sought notice. Offeror's response to this notice shall be limited to 10 pages and shall include the following information: 1) Firm's name, address, point of contact, cage code, phone number, and e-mail address; 2) Firm's interest in submitting a response to the solicitation when or if it is issued; 3) Provide example of at least two (2) projects similar to the scope described above. Include the point of contact information for each example provided, as past performance on indicated projects may be verified. 4) Firm's type of business (SB, SDVOSD etc.). Interested firms shall respond to the Sources Sought Synopsis no later than 11:00 AM (EST) on 20 February 2018. All interested contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
