Description

This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources (small and other than small) to perform a potential requirement. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 811310 and sized standard is $7.5M. NOTE: NOTE: Interested parties shall be register in the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. SAM registration can be accomplished by accessing the internet at www.sam.gov or by calling 1-866-606-8220. Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. Project requirements: Contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, material, incidentals and expert supervision needed to: perform the annual load bank test on five (5) emergency diesel generators located at the Robley Rex VAMC, Louisville, KY. Generator Brand and Model Numbers: EE20525-Model Caterpillar # 3406, 208 volt, located in building 1., EE22819-Model Caterpillar # 3412, 208 volt, located in building 1, EE25888 Model Cummins # VTA-28-G5, 480 volt, located in building 1. EE74012-Model - Kohler # 150REDZJF, 208 volt, located in building 24, and EE16188- Model - Kohler # 125ROZJ81, 208 volt, located in building 6. The test shall consist of a total of 1.5 hour test on each generator: 30 minutes at 50% of nameplate rating load, and 60 minutes at 75% of nameplate rating load. Each generator shall be connected with 4/0 cables rated at 400 amps each with cam-lock for connecting the load bank and secured to the lugs on the generator. A 700KW Avtron Patriot Load Bank is recommended. Connections shall be checked by VA Electrician prior to initiating the test. Upon completion of the load bank test, the generator and bank shall be cooled down before securing and disconnecting the load bank. Contractor shall furnish a digital and final hard copy documentation reports on performance of each generator. Generators in Building #1: EE20525-Model Caterpillar # 3406, 208 volt, EE22819-Model - Caterpillar # 3412, 208 volt and EE25888 Model Cummins # VTA-28-G5, 480 volt must be tested after 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. The Generator in building 6, room 102C-6: EE16188- Model - Kohler # 125ROZJ81, 208 volt and the Generator located at building 24: EE74012-Model - Kohler # 150REDZJF may be tested during normal working hours 8:00 AM through 4:30 PM. Anticipated period of performance: March 15 2018 - March 30 2018 Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide a product and related services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, Small, Other Than Small, etc,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; if applicable, include GSA contract number and expiration date (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
