DEPARTEMTN OF VETERANS AFFAIRS VETERANS INTEGRATED SERVICE NETWORK (VISN) 16 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 36C25618Q9174 BACKGROUND: The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks has a requirement for the following brand name, add-on equipment for its Joplin, MO Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The equipment must integrate completely with the existing workflow software. Manufacturer Stock Number Description SCRIPTPRO CRS Robotic prescription filling equipment Compact sized automated prescription filling system that interfaces with existing VA Outpatient Prescription software through an HL7 interface and performs selection of correct medication, correct count, labeling and holding for dispensing by Pharmacy personnel SCRIPTPRO SP Central Platform Workflow Server Platform- Server installed to operate purchased and existing prescription filling equipment. This server must operate on the existing product software to allow for interconnection and expansion of existing equipment which is to be relocated. This server will be rack mounted. The server must control all purchased equipment. The platform shoul consist of the following devices: SP Central Server and 1 SP Datapoint PC terminal. SCRIPTPRO SP Printer Automation Data Terminal Pharmacy Printer: Prescription labeling printer - SP Printer for processing and label generation (1) - Prescription filling labeling thermal printers that integrate and function with the aforementioned prescription filling data terminals. These printers should use rolled thermal labels to provide scripted prescription information in the VA approved format SCRIPTPRO Electronic Signature Electronic Signature Capture Pad: Signature capture device SP Electronic signature capture device connected to the 1 SP Datapoint PC terminal SCRIPTPRO Standard Interface Standard Interface between Vista and Automation: Standard interface (HL7) setup and activation for communication with existing outpatient prescription filling software (currently VISTA) SCRIPTPRO Vista Interface Virus Protection Interface Upgrade (Platform) Virus Protection Interface Upgrade (Platform System): Software virus protection interface upgrade. SCRIPTPRO Installation New equipment purchased Installation Support for setup and installation of all purchased products in the Joplin, MO location. SCRIPTPRO Monthly Support/Subscription Ongoing Support Package Monthly support for all purchased equipment to cover from day of installation until purchased equipment can be included in main support contract. Up to 12 months support purchase by month REQUESTED RESPONSES: The intent of this Request for Information is to establish sources in order to define the procurement strategy. Please respond to the RFI if you are capable of providing supplies that can be determined EQUIVALENT to the products listed in the table found in the background section above. Please provide details on proposed EQUIVALENT products such as Manufacturer name, Part Number, and Description.
