- Disclaimer: This pre-solicitation notice is for information only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. If a solicitation is issued in the future, it will be announced via the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov) and interested parties must comply with that announcement. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. SYNOPSIS The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a solicitation, N00024-18-R-6313, for the development, integration, test, production, delivery and repair of the Advanced Explosive Ordnance Disposal Robotic System (AEODRS) Tactical Operations System (TOS) Variant (Increment 2) and Base/Infrastructure Operations System (BIOS) Variant (Increment 3). The TOS (Increment 2) is the medium sized variant configured to replace existing tactical robotic vehicles. The BIOS (Increment 3) is the large sized variant configured to enhance full-scale EOD operations where transportability of the robotic systems to the scene is not hindered by tactical or mobility considerations. The solicitation will be issued electronically via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) at http://fbo.gov and interested parties must comply with that announcement. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of the synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Interested offerors should monitor the FBO page for the release of the solicitation, and any applicable amendments. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this procurement at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The Government anticipates the release at the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) second quarter fiscal year 2018 and the Final RFP third quarter fiscal year 2018.
