- This is a Pre-solicitation Notice for Park Attendance Services within the Nashville District, specifically for Canal Campground at Lake Barkley, KY. Please read and follow the instructions contained within the complete solicitation for each location, which will be released within the next few days. You may submit offers for multiple locations, but a separate Price Schedule must be sent for each location and only one (1) contract award will be issued to a contractor. Therefore; if you submit for multiple locations, it is in your best interest to rank-order your preferences. The following solicitations will be released in the coming days for these locations: W912P518T0013 - Cordell Hull Lake, Salt Lick Campground W912P518T0014 - Laurel Lake, Laurel Picnic Area (Day Use) W912P518T0015 - Dale Hollow Lake, Willow Grove Campground W912P518T0016 - Cheatham Lake, Harpeth River Campground W912P518T0017 - Lake Barkley, Canal Campground W912P518T0018 - Old Hickory Lake; Old Hickory Beach Day Use Area (two locations, two positions) W912P518T0019 - J. Percy Priest Lake; Poole Knobs Campground, and Seven Points Campground The Park Attendants shall provide all of the personnel, materials, supplies, and vehicles to perform these services, except as otherwise specified in the Performance Work Statements for each location. Two (2) adults (at least 21 years of age or older with no children under the age of 16 living in the park) shall serve as resident Park Attendants. The resident Park Attendants shall provide and reside in a self-contained camper or motor home and live in the park during their work assignment. Duties include but are not limited to the collection of use fees, reservation check-in by a Nation-wide computer system, operation of a computer based park management system, maintaining a status of occupied sites, register of visitors, furnishing visitors information and brochures, assuring proper use of the park facilities, and maintaining quiet-hour. Basic computer skills will be required for prospective offerors. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management and obtain a Unique Entity Identifier (formerly DUNS) number.
