Description
SEA SFO 707017-18-R-REWAF009 Amendment 3 2- 9- 18 Question 24:- Can occupancy be on more than one floor if each space is secure? Answer 24: No, the space needs to be contiguous. Question 25: Any other federal agencies you cannot locate with in the same building? Answer 25 No, any Government agency can be located in the same building as TSA. Question 26: Can you lease space in a building which is on a ground lease? Answer 26: Yes, a ground floor lease is acceptable. Question 27:- Any column width restrictions? Answer 27: A complete description of column requirements will be outlined in the SFO. 28: Question- My prior question asked about warehouse space for the simulator and you said "no." Your recent clarification of 12' clear height for the simulator raises challenges in many "institutional grade Class A or B office space." That is taller than many office ceiling heights and with grid, ceiling tile and lights removed, still may have clear height challenges from sprinkler lines, VAV boxes and mechanical ductwork, relocation of which is economically difficult on a five year firm lease term. Since we know nothing about this simulator today, how big of an area for the simulator (12' clear height) is needed and are there any structural concerns (weight) about what floor it goes on? Could if for example go on a ground floor space (slab) and the balance of the office space be upstairs? Answer - The size of the Simulator is 52 ft long x 18 ft wide by 9 ft high. The additional 3 ft of height is necessary for installation and maintenance. A complete simulator construction package will be provided as part of the SFO package which should be used by the lessor to determine if there are structural concerns (weight) for their building. Question- 29: Is seismic RP8? Answer 29: All TSA Buildings must meet RP8 requirements.
