Description

Overview The Maritime Administration (MARAD) an agency of the United States Department of Transportation seeks a qualified and experienced contractor to replace a 9-11 Memorial Plaque for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) Kings Point, NY. Scope Interested vendors shall provide labor, material, transportation, tools, equipment and supervision to remove an existing concrete base, fabricate an engraved Corian plaque and construct a new concrete base to fasten the plaque to. Instructions The government reserves the right to not award to any vendor not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of award. Only quotes submitted by Small Business will be accepted by the Government. Any quote that is submitted by a contractor that is not Small Business will not be considered for award. Vendors must provide the following: -Sample of Corian, or equivalent to be used for the plaque -Layout of engraving details to be approved prior to actual engraving NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-FEB-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
