Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1201 Broad Rock Boulevard in Richmond, Virginia will be soliciting offers for Lab Equipment Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services. The contractor shall provide all parts, labor, personnel, equipment, tools, supervision and other items and services necessary; including provision of all replacement parts. A request for Quote 36C24618Q0386 will be issued on or about February 5, 2018. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is March 22, 2018 (or date of award) through September 30, 2018 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $20.5 million. The classification code is J066. The solicitation will be issued 100% set-aside for Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). In order to be considered a VOSB, company MUST be listed as verified in the vendor information pages in the VIP database, www.vip.vetbiz.gov. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
