- New Manufactured Material: A firm fixed price type contract is contemplated. The items, estimated quantities and required deliveries are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN: 2840-01-192-1029, P/N: 6052T10G01; NOUN: Combustion Ch Liner; APPLICATION: TF34, QTY: 11-66 EA, DELIVERY: 30 Sept 2018. AMC Code: 2C First Article Requirement; Waiver may be applicable. No telephone requests. Written requests can be emailed to lyndsey.shirazi@us.af.mil. Qualification Requirements: Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the Government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. Current qualified source is: General Electric Company (Cage: 99207). Qualification requirements do exist for this effort. Potential sources typically would be companies who have access to the full technical data package or can obtain the data through the proper channels to complete the work described, including military specific modifications. A Source Approval Request (SAR) package must be submitted for approval determination to the Oklahoma City Small Business Office. Consequently, potential sources for this effort are companies who have a licensing agreement with the Data Rights Holder or Original Equipment Manufacturer. Surplus is may be acceptable. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: The Competition Advocate (CA) at each contracting activity/office (as defined in DLAD 2.101) shall act as the ombudsman and attempt to resolve contractor complaints. DLA AVIATION - AOCA's CA/ombudsman can be reached at (405) 734-8241, facsimile (405) 734-8129. Complaints which cannot be so resolved shall be forwarded to the HQ through J-72 for resolution by the DLA competition advocate. Each activity is responsible for developing procedures for executing the duties and responsibilities of its Ombudsman. Duration of Contract Period: 1 Year Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation.
